Emblem Calls for Revision of Central Malta Local Plan
Overdevelopment must stop

The decision to allow the construction of "3 storey plus semi-basement and penthouse" blocks in areas which have just settled from contruction activity has turned Attard into a construction site once again. The road infrastructure is under strain and the intense development is leading to heavy traffic.

People are finding themselves sandwiched between blocks of apartments with overlooking balconies and windows and with sunlight blocked out of their homes.

Attard Local Council is calling for an URGENT revision of the Local Plan. We will have an awareness raising press conference about the issue on SATURDAY 13 DECEMBER at 11am in TRIQ MARIO CORTIS, ATTARD.

Suggestions for the revision of the Central Malta Local Plan (which can be seen on MEPA website www.mepa.org.mt or at Attard Local Council offices) should be sent to attard.lc@gov.mt or Attard Local Council, 6 Triq il-Kbira Attard.

See you there,
Your local councillors
